The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu has notified the advocates that if any member is found directly writing representations to the authority which involves the issues of the Bar Association shall automatically seize to be the member of the Association without any further notice.

The members of the Bar were informed that anyone having any grievance about any issue may route his/her request/representation or grievance through the Bar Association Jammu in order to maintain the high tradition of unity and integrity of the Bar Association.

The Notice has been issued by the President of the Bar Association Jammu Mr. M. K Bhardwaj, Senior Advocate after taking a serious view of the fact that some advocates are directly making representations to the authorities.

The Notice reads

It has come to the notice of the JKHCBAJ that some advocates are directly making representations/writing letters to the authorities. It has been seriosly noticed by teh office bearers of the Bar Association and Young Lawyers Association and resolved that all teh learned members may be informed that anyone having any grievance about any issue route his/her request/representation or grievance through the Bar Association, Jammu in order to maintain the high tradition of unity and integrity of the Bar Association.

The Notice further reads that any member found/noticed directly writing/communicating to any authority involving the issues of the Bar Association shall automatically seize to be the member of the Bar Association without any further notice.
